Once upon a time there was a family
who enjoyed nothing more than learning and playing
on computers. Daddy was the biggest fan of computers
and some people called him an expert. Mummy called
him a computer geek! Sometimes even after a hard day's
work, building computers and designing software, he
would come home and do it just for fun.
One day, when Daddy was working on his computer, he
heard tiny foot steps. "Is that my two little
boys who've come to play?" said Daddy knowingly.
"Yes" replied Daddy's boys and they quickly
took their places as usual on Daddy's knee and watched
him work on his computer. "Can we have a go?".
"Ok", said Daddy and before long Daddy's
work was lost and the computer was wrecked. Daddy
knew that if he wanted to get any work done, he would
have to build the kids their own computer. Mummy thought
this was a great idea as she had suggested it ages
ago.
Soon Daddy had built the best computer in town with
a bright coloured key board and mouse set on a beautiful
little desk, just right for his boys. Daddy had even
managed to customise the computer to show their favourite
cartoon characters. "Wow" said Daddy's boys
when they unwrapped the box on their Birthday, "It's
just what we always wanted!!". "I told you
so" said Mummy with a great big smile on her
face.
It wasn't long before other children heard about the
computer that Daddy had built. Children and their
parents would come from far and wide to play on it.
"Something has to be done", said Mummy as
she was running out of tea and biscuits for all her
guests. "You must go in to business and sell
the Computer for Kids so that all the good children
in the land can have their very own computer".
Since Daddy knew by now that Mummy was always right,
that's what he did.
And they all lived happily ever after.
